Noscript for Firefox is available for free and released under the open source GPLv2 license on Windows from Firefox addons. Overall, NoScript for Firefox can be a pretty handy application to have as it is particularly good at disabling ads and nasty Flash scripts - especially video ads which seem to have become popular. It can also be used to just temporarily enable or disable scripts from being executed. You can manage which sites have permission to run scripts by creating a whitelist and sites can be removed and added pretty easily.įrom the "Options" of NoScript, you can also select which types of scripts can be enabled and disabled. The usage of the program is quite simple and involves adding it to Firefox or other browser which support Firefox addons and extensions. In other words, NoScript gives users full control over which sites should be allowed to run scripts thus helping protect against malicious attacks and clickjacking and cross site scription (XSS). NoScript is an excellent addon for Mozilla Firefox which allows users to enable and disable the execution of JavaScript and Flash based on host name (domain). Advertisement Allows JavaScript and Java execution only for trusted domain and block it for webpages that are suspicious.
